Randall Soderquist, Court Administrator

Randall serves as the Administrator for both the West Wendover Municipal Court and the Eastline Justice Court.  In this position, he is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining court policies and procedures, as well as supervising and directing the employees of the court.  He also conducts the financial and statistical management functions of the court.  Additionally, Randall processes all civil matters that come before the court, including small claims, evictions and protective orders.

Randall was born and raised in Utah Valley.  Prior to joining the court, he held various positions in a McDonald’s franchise organization, most recently as a District Manager.  He moved to Wendover in 2003 to be with his partner, Darron.  Randall’s interests include history and social sciences, civics, and animal welfare.

 

Jacqueline Gonzales Ratliff, Court Administrative Assistant

Jackie began working with West Wendover City in 1991.  She was a secretary for the West Wendover Police Department, as well as a Reserve Officer, until 1994.  Jackie returned to work for the City of West Wendover in February 2007 as an Administrative Assistant for the West Wendover Municipal Court and the Eastline Justice Court.  Jackie has been trained in all aspects of the court’s systems, but she primarily focuses on citations, warrant validations and Spanish interpretation.

Jackie is a native resident of Wendover and graduated from Wendover High School in the class of 1984.  She is the daughter of Luis and Gloria Gonzales, and has two brothers, Luis, Jr. and Tracy Lynn.  Jackie married her high school sweetheart, Billy Don Ratliff, Jr., and together they have three children, John Thomas, Tarin Nicole and Marissa Dawn.  In her free time, she enjoys fishing, camping and four wheeling with her family.

 

Teresa Naranjo, Court Administrative Assistant

Teresa began working for the West Wendover Municipal Court and Eastline Justice Court in May 2010.  Her primary responsibilities at the court involve the processing of criminal casework.  Teresa initiates cases upon the receipt of arrest reports or summons from law enforcement, clerks for arraignments, trials and other court hearings, and monitors defendants’ compliance with court orders and sentencing requirements.  Prior to working for the courts, she worked at Wells Rural Electric Company.

Teresa and her family moved to Wendover in 1997 from San Diego, California.  She and her husband, Raul, have two children, Ivan and Paulina.  When she is not working, Teresa enjoys reading, watching baseball and football, attending family gatherings and traveling with her family.
