Stephanie Carsrud, Court Administrator

Stephanie Carsrud became the Administrator of the West Wendover Municipal Court and the Eastline Justice Court in February 2007.  Prior to her appointment, she served as a Court Clerk and Accounting Technician for the City of West Wendover.  Stephanie is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the courts.  She loves working with the public and enjoys the exciting challenges of Court Administration.  Her primary objective as Court Administrator is to achieve excellency in customer service and to ensure public trust.

Prior to coming onboard with the City of West Wendover, Stephanie worked with the Utah State Bar as the Continuing Legal Education Assistant.  In addition, she worked with the Tuesday Night Bar Program, a free legal clinic that provided legal advice for individuals within the Salt Lake Valley.

Stephanie received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Utah in 2006.  She also received a specialized degree in Paralegal Studies from the Salt Lake Community College in 2003.  Stephanie plans to enter into a Master’s program in Court Administration in the Fall of 2008.

In her free time, Stephanie loves vacationing with her husband and three children, Jaustin, Jasmine and Kenleigh.  Her dream vacation would be to back pack with her family across Europe.  She also enjoys gardening, baking cupcakes, and home decorating.

 

Jacqueline Gonzales Ratliff, Court Administrative Assistant

Jackie was born in Tooele, Utah and is a native resident of West Wendover, NV and Wendover, Utah.  Jackie graduated in the class of 1984.  Jackie is the daughter of Luis and Gloria Gonzales, Sr., and has two brothers Tracy Lynn and Luis Jr.  She married her High School sweetheart, Bill Don Ratliff, Jr., and they have three children, John Thomas, Tarin Nicole and Marissa Dawn.  She enjoys fishing, camping, and four wheeling with her family.

Jackie began working with the West Wendover City in 1991.  She acted as a Secretary for the West Wendover Police Department as well as a Reserve officer until 1994.  Jackie returned to work for the City of West Wendover in February 2007 and is employed as a Court Administrative Assistant for the West Wendover Municipal Court and the Eastline Justice Court.  She has been trained in all aspects of the court’s systems, but her primary focus is on Citations, Record Retention and Spanish Interpretation.

 

Teresa Naranjo, Court Administrative Assistant

Teresa began working with the West Wendover Municipal Court and Eastline Justice Court in May 2010.  Her primary focus is on Traffic and Civil cases but, she hopes to learn all aspects of the judicial system.  Prior to working for the courts, she worked at Wells Rural Electric Company and the Resorts and Wendover.

Teresa and her family moved to Wendover in 1997 from San Diego, California.  She is married with two children.  In her free time she enjoys reading, family gatherings, watching baseball and football and traveling with her family.
