Though West Wendover is geared to satisfying the tourist, we also strive to satisfy the needs of the youth in the area. Throughout the year, West Wendover plays host to a wide variety of community events such as the Annual Fourth of July event, Cinco de Mayo, Winter Wonderland and others, sponsored by the City of West Wendover and other organizations. Children are one of our most important assets, in keeping our community moving forward and together. Programs offered through the West Wendover Recreation District, the City of West Wendover and the West Wendover Schools play a vital role in keeping kids busy and on the right track.
