Secondary Education

West Wendover is fortunate to have several avenues available for both young and old with regard to higher education.  Great Basin Community College offers some extension services here in West Wendover and for those who wish to attend on-campus, the universities in Utah and Nevada offer in-state tuition to those students from either West Wendover or Wendover.  In fact many local organizations such as the Wells Rural Electric Next Dollar Foundation and the Miss Wendover Pageant offer scholarships to our high school graduates in addition to the scholarships offered by both Utah and Nevada universities.   This spells success for those students who wish to excel and thus success for our community.
