Benjamin Holloway Receives Youth Advocate of the Year Award
At the City Council Meeting of July 21, 2020, Emily Carter, Leadership Member with the Wendover Prevention Group, presented Benjamin Holloway with the Youth Advocate of the Year Award.
Benjamin is a recent graduate of West Wendover High School and has assisted the Wendover Prevention Group throughout the year in advocating efforts with the youth in the community to prevent and reduce underage drinking, substance abuse and delinquency.
The Wendover Prevention Group is a community coalition that includes law enforcement, local government officials, healthcare and business representatives, youth-serving organizations, the media, faith community members, parents, prevention and treatment providers, youth, and mental health authorities.
Congratulations Benjamin for your great work and dedication to the youth in our community!
