At the Regular City Council Meeting of January 19^th, the City Council provided Conceptual Site Plan Approval to Vertical Horizon, LLC for their proposed Marijuana Cultivation/Grow and Production Facility that will be located at 450 Industrial Way on part of a 10 acre site in the City’s Industrial Park.

Vertical Horizon, LLC has offices based in Pahrump, NV with similar facilities in both Nevada and Colorado.

The project is contemplated in three phases with Phase 1 including:  Two greenhouse cultivation/grow buildings containing over 20,000 total square feet, a 1,000 square foot sorting facility and a 3,500 square foot production/office building.

The project will cultivate/grow and produce marijuana products that will be wholesaled to the marijuana dispensary industry in Nevada.

The plan approval process is expected to take several more months with completion expected late summer along with appropriate licensing by the City and the State.   Phase 1 is another multi-million dollar business investment that will provide new job opportunities in the community.
