Nevada DMV and SB 48?

State Senate Bill 48 was requested by the City of West Wendover to address the lack of DMV services in the community. Upon the bill’s passage the City would be able to provide all vehicle registration related services at City Hall. The bill does not currently address driver’s license & identification card services. However, it is the City’s position that once it is safe to do so that we would like to see the DMV reinstate their rural traveling program to provide those services once again to the community.
