The City of West Wendover will hold its election on November 8, 2022.  Positions available on the upcoming ballot include three (3) City Council Members; all seats are four (4) year terms and are at large.  Those elected to the three City Council Members seats will be sworn in and take office on at the City Council Meeting on December 6^th, 2022 at 7 p.m.

Any interested Candidates must file the Declaration of Candidacy and pay a $50.00 filing fee no earlier than Monday, March 7, 2022, and not later than 5:00 o’clock, Friday, March 18, 2022 at the City Clerk’s Office, West Wendover City Hall, 1111 N. Gene L. Jones Way, West Wendover, Nevada.

Polls will be open November 8, 2022 from 7 am to 7 pm (Mountain Time) at the West Wendover City Hall 1111 N. Gene L. Jones Way.

Every active registered voter will receive a paper ballot in the mail at their address on file.  Voters may opt-out of receiving a mail ballot by going to Elko County’s Website: https://www.elkocountynv.net/departments/clerk/elections.php.  During early voting and Election Day, voters may cast their vote in-person but will have to surrender their mail ballot or complete an Affirmation when appearing in person to vote.  For questions about early voting locations and times please contact the Elko County Clerk at 775-753-4600.
