City Council Grants Conceptual Approval to LVP-TA Truck Stop

Pages from 2022-02-20 Prelim Plan - TA West Wendover, NV(2)At the Regular City Council Meeting of March 1, 2022, City Manager Chris Melville presented and reviewed with the Council granting approval of the Conceptual Site Plan for the proposed LVP-TA Truck Stop.  

This project is a development under the TA Express Travel Center name and includes the development of an approximate 15,000 square foot building which will include a C-store, two retail food stores along with an 8 bay semi diesel fuel island and a 10 bay auto fuel island along with a large amount of semi-truck and auto parking; all located on approximately 22 acres of a 60 acre parcel now owned by LVP (Las Vegas Petroleum) located at the NW intersection of N. Florence Way and the NDOT Frontage Road, on the north side of I-80 at Exit 410. 

The project also includes the construction of a portion of Leppy Hills Boulevard which is the planned arterial street that will service other property to the west including a connection with the NDOT maintenance station and Frontage Road.  The project is expected to complete the plan approval process with the city and related NDOT reviews over the next several months.
