Along with the upcoming U.S. Presidential Election, the City of West Wendover will hold City Elections on November 8, 2016.  Positions available on the upcoming ballot include the Mayors seat and two (2) City Council Member seats; all seats are four (4) year terms and are at large.  Those elected to the Mayor and two City Council Members seats will be sworn in and take office at the City Council Meeting on November 15^th, 2016 at 7 p.m.

Any interested Candidates must file the Declaration of Candidacy and pay a $50.00 filing fee no earlier than Monday, March 7, 2016, and not later than 5:00 P.M., Friday, March 18, 2016 at the City Clerk’s Office, West Wendover City Hall, 1111 N. Gene L. Jones Way, West Wendover, Nevada.

Polls will be open November 8, 2016 from 7 am to 7 pm at the West Wendover Library 590 Camper Drive.  Early voting and absentee ballots are also available by contacting the Elko County Clerk at 775-753-4600.
