At this May 21^st City Council Meeting Gunnar Carter of the Wendover Prevention Group presented Logan Marriott and Kylie Hansen with Youth Recognition Awards.

Logan Marriott is a great student and role model to his peers.  He is very involved in leadership through Student Council and volunteers his time at school and with community activities.  Logan is a member of our school Hope Squad, suicide prevention peer support group.  He also shows great educational success through his school years.  Logan is a student athlete on our football and golf teams. His parents encourage and support his active, positive involvement in our community.

Kylie Hansen is a top academic student and a model of integrity, someone who works at doing the right thing even when it is difficult.  She has also maintained a Gold Honor roll.  Kylie is kind, caring and very active in leadership and volunteer work with Student Council as well as being a member of our school Hope Squad, a suicide prevention peer support group.  Kylie is also a varsity cheerleader at our school.
