On June 6^th the City of West Wendover issued a Boil Water Order as required by Nevada Division of Environmental Protection in regards to a water leak repair which affected one (1) residence on N. Butte Street.   The Boil Order applied to only that particular residence.

The City would like to inform the public that there are NO concerns with the city’s water supply and there is NO general Boil Order in effect.  If there had been or ever is such a concern in the future, you will receive a notice directly at your residence and/or business location from the City.  Additionally, the City would post an official notice on its website and social media page; such a notice by the City will never come through a private citizen social media account.

It is the City’s utmost priority to protect the public’s water supply and keep the public informed.
