TA Truckstop and Black Bear Diner Projects continue their progress on construction and are moving along at a steady pace. LV Petroleum the owner/developer of the project along with their General Contractor, Connor Gaskins Unlimited, are ensuring both projects are constructed per design and in a timely manner.
Currently you can easily see the large TA facility, which includes the C-store (building center) along with the Bojangles restaurant (west wing) and the Del Taco restaurant (east wing). The building has completed framing, roofing and exterior work underway along with the structures for the two fueling islands which will service semi-trucks and automobiles within their 20-acre site. Conner Gaskins and their subs are also now working on the interior of the building and preparing to close in the structure which should be completed in the next month.
The Black Bear Diner is also showing good progress, with the structure erected and roofing and interior framing underway.
In addition to the onsite facility construction, the public infrastructure is also underway which includes the new Leppy Hills Boulevard and the extension of North Florence Way with lighting, mainline water, sewer and storm drain facilities.
Conner Gaskins indicates the projects are on schedule for completion in November 2025. LV Petroleum is looking forward to a bright future with their facilities in West Wendover becoming an integral part of the community. The two projects together are expected to create approximately 70 new jobs.
