The Leppy Hills Trails Maintenance Project is now underway which includes the installation of 15 new storm water culverts as well as repair and redressing of several of the trail areas.  The trails were significantly damaged last year with some very heavy thunderstorms which pounded the Leppy Hills creating some real gully washers and as a result, also causing damage to Leppy Hills Trails, especially the outer loop of the trail system.

Though the trail complex is not closed, with construction equipment and work taking place on the trails, users should use caution keeping clear of actual work areas.

Faulstich & Rand Construction out of Elko, Nevada, is doing the work which is scheduled for completion by the end of May.
