At the Regular City Council Meeting of May 3^rd, the City Council granted Preliminary Site Plan approval to the Grease Monkey Auto Service Center that will be located on 801 Florence Way as part of the Bomarc Ventures LLC Development.

City Manager Chris Melville presented the Preliminary Plan to the Council indicating that good progress has been made since the Conceptual Approval just over a month ago and that at the current pace, he expects the developer to submit Final Plans for approval in early June.

The First Phase of the project includes the construction of a 3,200 sqft Grease Monkey Auto Service Center and Monkey Shine Car Wash facility which would then be followed in the future by two additional retail buildings containing another 15,000 sqft that would be available for lease/rent to various types of businesses.

The project location (801 Florence Way) is near the intersection of Exit 410 and Wendover Boulevard adjacent to Scobie Park and the West Wendover Welcome Center, providing it great access in one of the city’s prime business areas.
