At the Regular City Council Meeting of October 4, 2016, Chief of Police Burdel Welsh presented Sergeant Michael Connin with a 20 Year Service Award.  Sergeant Connin began working for the City of West Wendover in 1996 under Animal Control and moved up the ranks; his most recent advancement to Police Sergeant being obtained in 2005.
