The City Manager is the Director of Human Resources (HR) for the City.
The HR Department and its Staff strive in concert with individual Departments to maximize the human assets of the organization. The HR Department develops, maintains and implements the general city personnel policies, related performance appraisals, compensation structures and competencies as well as develops and manages the general employee training programs in order to enhance employee education, knowledge and skills which effect employee performance levels.
The HR Department is charged with recruiting and provide related training of job applicants as well as administering all employee-benefit programs.
